Christopher Wood is a composer and producer based in London & Coventry. He studied a BA in Music Composition at Coventry University from 2012-2016, including a year of study at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. He is currently researching Visual Music and audiovisual composition as a Masters degree at Coventry. Christopher has worked on a number of short films over the last 2 years, with work seen at the IbizaCineFest, Carnegie Museum of Art and the Royal Television Society Midlands.
His composition is mainly computer-based, in particular electroacoustic music and experimental electronic music - inspired by the likes of Björk, Aphex Twin and Flying Lotus. He is also an experienced jazz guitarist and bassist and is very influenced by modern jazz like Snarky Puppy, Jacob Collier and Hiatus Kaiyote.
Keen to collaborate with filmmakers, video-game designers and artists, Christopher offers a flexible and eclectic compositional palette, a good knowledge of contemporary media and a passion for creativity of any kind.
